Well, as you can assume its been hard to find time to update our blog. Joey is three weeks post surgery and doing much, much better. Thank you Lord. He had a very rough week immediately following the surgery and the kids and I were doing lots and lots of taking care of Daddy! Kaylee was so sweet, every morning she'd wake up and come check on him to see if his back was better yet. She'd say...."Can you throw me up in the air yet?" =) Its super hard on him not being able to play with the kids and hold them like he is used to, but hopefully he'll be healing quickly and be back to his old daddy self again! Keep him in your prayers.
Kaylee is 4 years old! We can't hardly believe it! Seems like just yesterday, we were waiting on the Dr. to come in and tell us it was time for her to arrive! She is the most fun loving child we could have ever dreamt of raising. She is so smart...I'd be here forever telling you everything that she can do or knows! But, for starters.....she can say her Abc's, count just about to 20, count to 10 in spanish, she knows all of her colors, all of the shapes, every animal out there, she can write the alphabet, spell her name and write it. She is learning to write words and read a little. We've decided to keep her home until Kindergarten, no preschool for her, just because she is so incredibly smart we'd like to keep some challenge there for her once she starts school. Otherwise, she'd probably skip right to first grade and we'd like for her to have the experience of Kindergarten and have fun! =) She loves to play, oh my goodness, her imagination is out of this world. She is just wonderful, we have such a great time just watching and listening to her!
She had her birthday at Skateland this year and was thrilled to have been able to skate all by herself!!! =) She had such a fun party with all of her family and friends!
Camden is all boy! He'll play with trucks and cars and chooooo chooooo's (his favorite word) ALL day long. He is such a good boy, he can entertain himself for hours! Its funny because we say that he can only say "boy words". He hasn't really became that vocal yet, but he says words like ball, trucks, car, choo choo, ready set go =) He'll get there, we know he will. But as for now he's a quiet little guy! But let me tell you, he is the most loving thing! He loves to hug you! All day long he'll come up and grab mine or Daddy's legs and hug us or rub our legs. Its so sweet. In the past few days he has started to rub my belly, he must know the time is nearing for his little brother to arrive, or its just too big and he can't reach anything else! hehe! He learned to "gallop" last week and hasn't stopped since! Its so cute! The kids are loving the the weather is getting warmer. We spent many afternoons outside last week and hope to do the same again this week! They love to play on all of their riding toys and the swingset. Camden has finally learned to climb the latter and go down the slide! =)
As for Mommy, last but not least! We have about 4 more weeks to wait for baby Kinston to arrive. The time has flown by, we've enjoyed each and every moment of it. But, we're ready to see his little face and hold him! Kaylee is anxiously waiting, I swear I wish I had the patience of a 4 year old. She's awlays asking how much longer or is it time yet. As we tell her, we just have to wait a little longer she smiles and thats about it..... =) We have everything ready, just ready to have our little brother home and begin the rest of our lives together as the Reams family of five! =)

News about all of us!
We've gotten all kinds of news this week! Some bad, some good....Earlier this week Joey went to see the Orthopedic Dr. to check on the progress of the healing of his back, well..the results are that it isn't healing properly. Therefore, they think the next step needs to be surgery. We are confident in the Dr's recommendation and are going to go through with it. Joey will have a microdiscectomy on February 18th. Pray for him that the surgery will heal his back and take away all of the pain he has had for the last few months. Its been hard on him, we just want him to recover fully before our new little guy arrives!
On a brighter note, I passed my gluclose test this week! Praise the Lord! We wont have to worry about the health of Kinston throughout the end of this pregnancy! God really answers prayers when we call out to Him!
Kaylee is super excited about the snow that we're supposed to get this weekend! 8-12 inches! Wow, she will have a blast! =) She woke up this morning sad that there wasn't snow on the ground...but we explained to her that it wasn't supposed to start until tonight, so she'll see it when she wakes up in the morning! My little Kaylee bug was quite the encouragement to me this week, learning her verse for cubbies "Trust in the Lord" =) She has done an awesome job learning all of her verses and recieved another patch this week in awards! She loves to learn about Jesus and does such an amazing job of retaining the verses.....We've had some pretty warm weather, believe that or not, lately and Kaylee has really enjoyed playing outside. Going back and forth from her 4 wheeler to her corvette =) She loves to just run and be free, she is definetly an outside girl!
Camden is consumed with Handy Manny!! He LOVES his toolbox and carries it ALL over the house at all times. He even falls asleep with it! Its so cute, I've got to catch a picture of that! He is doing lots of new sounds and trying to repeat us on different words. He has fallen in love with books and will sit and read for longer than I'd ever think an "almost" two year old would do! This past Sunday, he sat in church the entire time looking at his book about trucks!
Thankfully, both children have been feeling great! Seems like the tubes for Camden really did the trick and have taken those pesky ear infections away! We are so glad we haven't been to the Dr. in months!
Daddy and Sterling had birthdays this month and we were able to have great celebrations with them both! What a month full of blessings!

Kaylee's first library card
Kaylee has been really wanting to go to the library lately. So, Gee and I took her on Monday. Boy, was she excited! She talked to the librarian all about getting her library card and listened intently about the rules of the library. She signed the back of her card (adorable) and we were on our way to checking out books. She was really funny going up and down the rows of books. She wanted to rent a "barbie book" of course we couldn't find anything like that. So, she finally found a couple that she liked and took them to the librarian to check them out. She loved it, I'm sure we'll be making several trips to the library a week...
