Trip to Tennessee

We had so much fun in Tennessee!
If you look really close you'll see Kaylee bug, shes at the top of the steps!

All of the kids turned into Cowboys while we were gone, leaving with boots and hats! haha

Kaylee was loving playing model all over the hotel. It was the most gorgeous place we had ever stayed at!

Thursday morning, the 10th we left our house and began our long adventure to Tennessee at about 4 am! Wow, that was so early! Kaylee and Camden both were wide awake and ready to go! They stayed awake for the first couple hours of the trip! I had no idea that would happen, I thought for sure they'd stay asleep since it was the middle of the morning! It wasn't a bad trip there at all, the kids did great! We got to the hotel at about 3pm, of course the time had changed so we had to get adjusted to that! We went to our rooms, got settled in and then headed out to see everything there was to do in the hotel. It was the most beautiful place I think we had ever seen! Flowers, plants, trees, rivers and waterfalls everywhere you looked. It was amazing. Kaylee fell in love with everything! We spent a lot of our trip just enjoying the hotel. We spent one day in downtown Nashville, that was a whole lot of fun! We ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and went in and out of a whole lot of boot and hat stores, Kaylee loved trying things on! Of course she and Camden both came home with cowboy hats, Kaylee even got some pink boots! She begged, now she wont take them off! haha =) That night we went to the Grand Ole Opry....that was a blast! Kaylee danced in the aisle and had a good ol' time! Mommy got to go to the Grand Ole Opry again the next time for a military benefit. Daddy, Camden and Kaylee ordered room service, went to the ice cream shop and played around the hotel! They had a lot of fun! The hotel was right next to a big mall, Opry Mills, there was lots of fun things to to do there. One night we ate dinner there and Kaylee rode the big carousel! The trip was a lot of fun, Kaylee would have stayed forever, she actually cried herself to sleep the night before we left. I really think she'd be a hotel hopper with Papa if she could go everywhere he went! She loves to travel! Its so cute because she can adapt to anywhere we are, to any style! We're looking forward to another trip, real soon!

p.s. Kaylee told Sterling about the new baby while we were there. You want to talk about the cutest reaction you have ever seen? Oh my goodness, it was adorable. He was so surprised. His first comment was, "Well what are you going to to with Camden?" Awww......and then he said "You're going to have to buy a new crib!" It was so cute, he couldn't stop covering his mouth!!

April 20th

This morning, Joey and I went to the Dr. for our first prenatal appointment. The baby is due April 20th. Thankfully, because I have a really awesome Dr. it will most likely be 10 days prior (I have been induced 2 times already) - of course I've already looked at a calendar and thats a Saturday - so a really good guess would be that the baby will be born on April 9th (Friday before the 10th)!!!! Weekend babies are good because everyone is already out of work! =) Anyway, the Dr's appointment went wonderful. The ultrasound was a breeze, snapped a few pictures of our growing lil' bean and heart the heart beat. It was really sweet. The sound is always so sweet. We've recorded both of our children so far, I'm hoping we can record this one too! Each time I have been pregnant, it has been through all of the holidays and let me tell you --- its here each time before I can't snap my fingers. It really helps the time go faster when you're super busy. Let me tell you, its always pretty super busy around here!!!

After the Dr's appointment, we come home to pick up the children. We took them to lunch to eat Don Jose, our favorite place! While we were there I asked Kaylee "Did Gee tell you where Mommy and Daddy were?" and she said, "Yes, she said that you and Daddy had to run errands" (good one Mom haha) I said "Yes, we did. We also went to the Dr." and she said, "Why, Mommy? Does your back hurt?" I said "No" and then she went through a whole list of things that hurt and I said no until she said "Does your tummy hurt?" and I said "Yes a little bit" and she said "Why?" and I said, "Well, because there is a baby in it!!!" and she said "Another one??" It was so cute. So, we started talking to her about the baby and of course she was so excited! She was smiling from ear to ear! She said, "Mommy is the new baby going to look like Camden?" and I said "Maybe, maybe it will look like you!!!" She started to laugh about that. All she remembers is me being pregnant with Camden! She wanted to know who all would be at the hospital when the new baby came! It was cute! Later on when she was trying to take her nap, I heard her in their telling her stuffed elephant that there was going to be a new baby and that the new baby needed a new crib! It was sweet, I'm sure she'll be talking about it a lot and I'll have lots of cute stories to tell. She is such a sweet little girl and what an amazing big sister she is!

Thanks everyone who have kept us in your prayers. I'm thankful that we have a healthy baby growing inside of me and we can rest assured that God's holding us in His hand through this pregnancy just like the other two!

Third Time is the Charm!

Today is a big day for the Reams Family! This morning, Joey and I are heading to the Dr's for the first appointment and ultrasound for the new baby. I dont exactly think reality has quite set in and until I see the screen with that little beating heart it may not! However, Joey better be ready to catch me if I pass out! =) We are beginning to become very excited about this baby. I am very excited to tell Kaylee this afternoon! We wanted to wait until we had our first appointment and ultrasound to tell her the big news and boy, has it been hard! I think we may try to video tape her reaction! I just know its going to be a good one. Shes an awesome big sister to Camden and will be even better to a little baby, I'm sure. As much as she loves to play with her babies and dollies! And Camden, well he wont probably get it until the baby comes home with us! He might wonder why Mommy's belly is getting so big! hehe =) Kaylee was very into the pregnancy with Camden, she constantly rubbed my belly and talked to her baby brother inside, sang to him and read to him! I can't imagine the experience with her this time, I'm hoping that she can join us on the 20 week ultrasound and found out what the baby's sex is with us! She age is 4, but she is so close and already looks 5 so I'm hoping we can pull some strings =) We're pretty sure this will be the last baby, so its her only chance! We're excited about the big change in our family, God knows what He's doing and knew His exact timing...even if we thought we weren't "quite ready" =) We feel very blessed and are very thankful that God has given us the opportunity to be parents, again!

"Super heroes"

We're driving in the car yesterday and Kaylee asks me, "Mommy, do super heroes fly?" And I quickly responded with "No Kaylee, super heroes are just pretend." I thought to myself, what I had I just done to my little girl who has such a niave, imaginitive mind? Should have I went along with what she has been seeing on tv, movies and books or did I do the right thing by telling her the truth? We have always tried to walk the straight and narrow with Kaylee telling her exactly like it is. But, she is just a little kid, is it ok for her to have an imagination and believe things are real that are not? Such as Santa and the Easter Bunny? So far, we have not taught Kaylee that these things are real. She knows that Mommy and Daddy are "Santa Clause" and Mommy and Daddy are the "Easter Bunny". What'd you think? Feedback would be ever so welcomed!! Wisdom from those with grown children is always so helpful!

Good Morning and welcome to the Reams Family blog! For years, I have had a website designed for the children with lots and lots of photos. I did well with keeping up with writing about Kaylee, but when Camden came along life got busier and I wasn't able to find as much time. Now, as the kids are getting older there is a little more time. Besides with our third baby on the way, I figured I better get to blogging so everyone could keep up with the world around the Reams family!
