The kids are having a blast playing in the snow! Kaylee was so excited to see it fall! She remembered how much fun they had last year and was thrilled to be able to play again! It was a little too frozen to make a snow man today, so they're going to try and build one tomorrow! Kaylee decided that since they had a princess snow girl last year that this year it should be a boy snow man, for Camden. She is the sweetest big sister =)

Baby Kinston kicked Kaylee
Kaylee was able to feel baby Kinston kick her hand this morning! She was so excited. She patiently holds her hand on my belly day after day just waiting to be able to feel him! Well, finally today she was able to feel him kick! She is so excited about him!
Daddy was able to feel him on Friday, the 11th...that was pretty exciting too. Joey is so involved in the pregnancy and has been every time that he loves to be able to connect with the baby just as much as I do! =) Kaylee, Camden and Kinston are so very blessed!

Camden's First Hospital Visit
Camden was admitted into the hospital on Friday, December 4th. He had a very rough night on Thurday, so I called the Dr. as soon as they opened and we took him in to see what was going on. He hadn't been sick at all, so we weren't sure why he was so miserable all night! But, when we got to the Dr. his oxygen levels were low, his breaths per minute were very high and was wheezing very badly. He was showing all signs of Asthma, but he had never had a sign of that before so we were all very taken back by all of the symptoms. So, they did a few tests trying to figure out what was wrong and the verdict was "swine flu". At the Dr's office they thought that he may have pneumonia as well. So, they sent us straight to the emergency room. One of the hospitals around here has a pediatric ER so that is where we went! We spent a few hours in there trying to make his better, he wasn't improving the way they thought he should. So, they admitted our little guy into the hospital. Luckily, we only had to stay a day. He improved wonderfully with all of the treatment and medications. So, we were able to go home the next day. We had to do breathing treatments at home every four hours and monitor him. Its now Wednesday of the next week and we've finished all of the medications and he is feeling much better. We can still notice a difference in his breathing and breathes per minute, but he is 100% better than he was this time last week! Thank you for all of your prayers!! God was good to us and our little boy....He took awesome care of him!

A Bib =)
Kaylee bug bought Mr. Kinston a bib tonight at the Children's place. It was so cute, she picked the blue one and said Mommy, can we please buy this for baby Kinston! Of course we had to do it, I'm sure he'll have all kinds of crazy things by the time he is here because she is a SHOPPER!!!! =) Thought that was sweet though! hehe...

Kinston Robert is coming to the world!
Today, Joey and I were able to share the wonderful experience with Kaylee of seeing our new baby boy! She was so very excited to see him move around and hear his heart beat. We were so excited to be able to have her join us this time! It was something we'll remember for a long time, something very special! =) We'll keep updating about Kinston! The Dr. said that he was right on track with his growth and the due date ( a great thing because Camden and Kaylee both measured larger then they should have)! The ultrasound tech just kept saying over and over how beautiful he was and how perfect everything about him was. We feel very, very blessed. God is so good to Joey and I and our children. We never want to take for granted one single day of parenthood and want our kids to always know how very much we love them and how much of a blessing they are to us. It is the perfect opportunity to show love to precious little children who are so deserving of everything we can pour out of ourselves into them! We pray that we are everything God has commanded us to be to these babies of ours! =)

...He was such a trooper!

Our big boy!
We are so thankful that Camden's ear surgery went so well! He went back with the nurse, a little upset of course because he was leaving Mommy and Daddy. But, Dr. Salley said that once he was back there he was better. It only lasted about ten minutes and he was out to tell us that Camden came through just fine and his ears had no damage. We were thankful to hear that! We were able to go back and be with him right away. He was trying to wake up and was very confused, so he was scared and upset. It took him about 45 minutes calm down and relax and realize that we had him and everything was going to be ok! By the time we got home, he was asleep and slept for about three hours. Kaylee and Gee brought him balloons and woke him up when they were walking down the hallway, he was pretty disoriented when he woke up but quickly became very excited about seeing his sissy and the big cars balloons =) Thank you everyone for your prayers and support! We love each and every one of you!

A smile and a scream for Santa.....
was happy to see Santa =)
Tonight, we went to visit Santa at the mall. Kaylee has been talking about it for days, so we figured we better dress up and get to see him so she could tell him what she would like to have for Christmas! She absolutely loved him, she say on his lap for about five minutes telling him what she'd like to have. Of course this was just Kaylee and Santa time so I have no idea what she told him! (Should've been listening!!!! Haha) Then, we added Camden to Santa's lap...he was terrified. Screamed the WHOLE time! Bless his heart, he wasn't so fond of Santa! We had a whole night of fun, after we saw Santa we went to have Happy meals and then went to Swaders for games and bowling. The kids had a blast! =) The holiday season is so much fun!
Yay for Kaylee!
We are so proud of our Kaylee bug! She is going on two weeks of sleeping in her bed EVERY night and not getting up to come to Mommy and Daddy's bed! Everyone that knows anything about our family knows that this has been a struggle for her, bless her heart. But, we are finally overcoming fear and gaining confidence that she can do it and is such a big girl! We have had to reward her every morning with a prize when she wakes up, Daddy puts it on her pillow beside her and she is just thrilled over that! Luckily, she is still very happy with dollar store prizes, this could get costly! haha! But I just had to tell everyone how excited I am! She is such a good little girl, shes sweet too. She'll wake up and say "Did I sleep in my bed all night long" ~ hehe, and then she gets sooooo excited that she did! Continue to pray for us, we're praying hard that we've crossed the hump and that she'll continue to do this!

Poor Daddy =/
Daddy went to the Dr. today, he has been having very bad back pain for about 5 weeks. He hurt his back at work, so he has had to do a lot of waiting approval to see different dr's. We finally got an answer today, after the MRI yesterday. He has a herniated disc... =/ He has to have an epidural steriod injection in just a few weeks so help the pain. Hopefully it does because we dont want him to have surgery =/ Please keep him in your prayers!

Camden's precious lil' listeners...
Camden has to have surgery on his little ears, he has had so many ear infections in the past year that the pediatrician referred us to an ear, nose and throat Dr. We saw Dr. Salley this week and he was wonderful! Camden was a champ at the appointment, he just sat there just as still as can be. He had to do a hearing test and Camden did a great job. He is borderline normal with his hearing, which the Dr. expected him to have a little trouble. But he assured us that once he has the surgery that the fluid will drain properly and his hearing test should be excellent! So, keep our family and our little guy in your prayers. Everyone I talk to promises me that their children have had this surgery and it has been just fine, but when you're the Mom and Dad and its your baby's turn its sparks a little anxiety. We know that God is in control and He'll hold him in the palm of His hand all the way through the surgery! Camden should have a great winter with no ear infections, no trips to the Dr. and no more antibiotics! Pray for us!

Daddy can work miracles!!!!!!
First, it was the transition from the crib to the toddler bed, now its no more paci! Camden made it through his very first night without a paci and it was all thanks to Daddy! Can you believe there wasn't even a single tear? He didn't wake up for it all night!!!!! Yay for Camden! He is turning into a big boy so fast! =)

16 Weeks
Here's the latest picture of our precious little baby growing inside! We're 16 weeks along! Not too much longer until we get to find out just who it is growing in there! Kaylee loves to talk about the baby and give my belly, baby hugs =) Just this week Camden noticed my belly, he put his finger on it, like he was pointing!!!! We are getting VERY excited about our new little family member!
"Tricky-Treaty"
We've had a fun day! Kaylee had dance class this morning and had a party and dressed up! Then, Jeremy and Stina came to visit and bring prizes, then we carved pumpkins! We went to the fall festival at church this evening and then Gee, Papa, Nana & Grandpa came to bring prizes to the house! Its been a great day! Kaylee has loved being snow white!!!! She says "Tricky-Treaty"

First Cubbies Award
Last night, Kaylee recieved her first award for Cubbies! She was so very excited to be able to put her first patch on her vest! She has done so awesome! Her teacher, Miss Kristen told us last night that she was the only one to be able to say her verse without any help!!!! Joey and I are so proud of her! Her verse was "Give thanks to the Lord, who made the great lights....sun, moon and stars" Psalm 136:7-9 =) She works so hard at learning her verses each week and is excited to go to Cubbies with her friends!

Kaylee sure loves her Uncle Jeremy....
Sterling was taking it ALL in =)
Camden thought it was great =) He was laughing out loud!
Last night, everyone went to see Disney on Ice! Joey and I, Kaylee and Camden, Jeremy, Stina and Sterling, Mom and Dad, Granny and Grandpa! The kids had a blast! Kaylee was dressed as snow white and Sterling was dressed in his Cars Costume! Camden, well he was sportin' his jeans and cars t-shirt! He doesn't quite have the tolerance yet for a costume! haha! They were in aww of everything they saw! The kids clapped and danced and smiled so big! Its so fun being able to see every big of joy expressed by their bodies =) Kaylee said that the lion king was her favorite scene, she loves that movie at home! Camden was very impressed with it all! He sat as still as can be and watched most of the night on whomever's lap, it didnt matter! Its so much fun being able to do fun things with the kids like that with all of the family. What memories we're making =)

"Dear Jesus"
"Dear Jesus, please give us our new baby. Is it a girl or a boy? Oh, a girl? Ok Jesus!" Then I heard "MOMMY ITS A GIRL!" =) "Oh and Jesus we need a new crib!"
This was Kaylee's prayer tonight. She is very concerned with whether the baby is a boy or a girl and I keep telling her that only Jesus knows what we're having and that He'll let us know in a couple of weeks. So, I guess tonight she decided she was going to have a direct conversation with Him! Hehe, kids are perfect aren't they?
Also, she wants the baby to sleep in her room with her. I told her that if she'd like we can put the crib in there so she can help us take care of the baby. (We're trying to let her be very involved!) She said, if its a girl I want it to be in my room and I said, well if its a boy it could be in your room too if you want it to. She simply said, no.....if its a boy it can be with Camden! Haha. She is so funny. The kids are going to have to share a room for now anyway, so I think that'll be the plan. Depending on the sex of the baby either Camden or Kaylee will be getting a room mate =)
Just thought I'd share, Kaylee made my night with this one =)

Bump, bump...bump, bump....
As a family, we heard the new baby's heartbeat for the very first time. Together. What a moment, it was amazing. Everyone just looked and listened. Kaylee was very excited to be able to hear it. She talked about it all day long and wanted to tell everyone who called or we saw that day. Its an awesome experience for Kaylee to have with us, Camden isn't quite there yet as far as understanding. Hopefully, within the next 6 months he'll become more aware and be able to enjoy different things with us! We have an appointment in Novemeber, just a regular check up and then we should find out whether or not its a girl or a boy the first week of December! Kaylee is funny, some days she says its a boy and other days she'll say its a girl. We will be very happy with both, its fun to guess sometimes but in reality we just want a healthy little angel to add to our family! Gee bought the baby a beautiful blanket, thats the baby's very first gift! We like to wait until we know what the baby is until we buy lots of things. Just so we know exactly how to prepare!

Bittersweet milestones...
He is very proud of his big boy car bed! He thought it was a great addition to his room! It took us a few days to help him learn that it was his new bed!
He does perfectly for napping in bed!
He does perfectly for napping in bed!
Daddy was able to get Camden to successfully sleep in his big boy car bed all weekend! For both naps and night time. So, we are officially out of the crib! Yay for Camden!!!! Big milestones like this are a little bittersweet for me! I am so very proud of him for transitioning so well, but at the same time this means my sweet little boy is growing up. He is so adorable sleeping in it though! I guess the crib is officially the new baby's now! We're going to start collecting things for the new baby and putting them in the crib for him/her!!! I am so blessed to have a husband who is so involved in our children's lives. He found it very important to get Camden his new bed and work with him all week and weekend. This was a very big Daddy/son event =)

Pumpkin Patch
Yesterday, we visted the pumpkin patch! Kaylee and Camden had so much fun! They loved running through and looking for just the perfect pumpkin! Kaylee picked the "new baby's" pumpkin first! It was cute and tiny! Camden picked his next, just a little bit bigger than the new baby's! Kaylee finally decided on hers and it ended up being bigger than Camden's. Just perfect =) They both loved the hayride! We're thinking about heading back to the patch to do some more of the activities! Kaylee is in love with the animals, Gee even brought apples to feed them!

Its Fall....
Its our favorite time of the year! The time when you can play outside all day, throw leaves, pick pumpkins, eat all kinds of yummy soup and smile just because its a beautiful season! Kaylee is ready to go to the pumpkin patch as soon as we can, she loves looking at all of the pumpkins everywhere! We love to look at the beautiful leaves outside as they are turning! She is very intrigued by all of the colors of fall!!!

Bible Verses
Joey and I are simply amazed and extremely proud of our Kaylee Bug...This past Wendesday she recited her first Bible verses to her teacher in Awanas.
"....God..... Loved us and sent His Son....." 1 John 4:10
".....While we were...... sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
She completed her Cubbies entrance test and was able to get her first book and her vest. She is so very proud of herself, she has wanted to wear her vest ever since. She brought two friends to Cubbies on Wednesday and was so happy to have them with her!
It is just amazing that God has equiped her with an awesome memory, Miss Kristin (her teacher) was very proud of her as well. She has such a love for Jesus already and is always so excited to go to Sunday School and Awanas. We're praying that she would soon be ableto understand accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior and make that decision. We have talked about asking Jesus to live in her heart and we think that she'll be ready soon. We're just waiting for the day and praying for a close relationship and walk with Him as she grows into a young lady!

Trip to Tennessee
We had so much fun in Tennessee!
If you look really close you'll see Kaylee bug, shes at the top of the steps!
All of the kids turned into Cowboys while we were gone, leaving with boots and hats! haha
Kaylee was loving playing model all over the hotel. It was the most gorgeous place we had ever stayed at!
Kaylee was loving playing model all over the hotel. It was the most gorgeous place we had ever stayed at!
Thursday morning, the 10th we left our house and began our long adventure to Tennessee at about 4 am! Wow, that was so early! Kaylee and Camden both were wide awake and ready to go! They stayed awake for the first couple hours of the trip! I had no idea that would happen, I thought for sure they'd stay asleep since it was the middle of the morning! It wasn't a bad trip there at all, the kids did great! We got to the hotel at about 3pm, of course the time had changed so we had to get adjusted to that! We went to our rooms, got settled in and then headed out to see everything there was to do in the hotel. It was the most beautiful place I think we had ever seen! Flowers, plants, trees, rivers and waterfalls everywhere you looked. It was amazing. Kaylee fell in love with everything! We spent a lot of our trip just enjoying the hotel. We spent one day in downtown Nashville, that was a whole lot of fun! We ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and went in and out of a whole lot of boot and hat stores, Kaylee loved trying things on! Of course she and Camden both came home with cowboy hats, Kaylee even got some pink boots! She begged, now she wont take them off! haha =) That night we went to the Grand Ole Opry....that was a blast! Kaylee danced in the aisle and had a good ol' time! Mommy got to go to the Grand Ole Opry again the next time for a military benefit. Daddy, Camden and Kaylee ordered room service, went to the ice cream shop and played around the hotel! They had a lot of fun! The hotel was right next to a big mall, Opry Mills, there was lots of fun things to to do there. One night we ate dinner there and Kaylee rode the big carousel! The trip was a lot of fun, Kaylee would have stayed forever, she actually cried herself to sleep the night before we left. I really think she'd be a hotel hopper with Papa if she could go everywhere he went! She loves to travel! Its so cute because she can adapt to anywhere we are, to any style! We're looking forward to another trip, real soon!
p.s. Kaylee told Sterling about the new baby while we were there. You want to talk about the cutest reaction you have ever seen? Oh my goodness, it was adorable. He was so surprised. His first comment was, "Well what are you going to to with Camden?" Awww......and then he said "You're going to have to buy a new crib!" It was so cute, he couldn't stop covering his mouth!!

April 20th
This morning, Joey and I went to the Dr. for our first prenatal appointment. The baby is due April 20th. Thankfully, because I have a really awesome Dr. it will most likely be 10 days prior (I have been induced 2 times already) - of course I've already looked at a calendar and thats a Saturday - so a really good guess would be that the baby will be born on April 9th (Friday before the 10th)!!!! Weekend babies are good because everyone is already out of work! =) Anyway, the Dr's appointment went wonderful. The ultrasound was a breeze, snapped a few pictures of our growing lil' bean and heart the heart beat. It was really sweet. The sound is always so sweet. We've recorded both of our children so far, I'm hoping we can record this one too! Each time I have been pregnant, it has been through all of the holidays and let me tell you --- its here each time before I can't snap my fingers. It really helps the time go faster when you're super busy. Let me tell you, its always pretty super busy around here!!!
After the Dr's appointment, we come home to pick up the children. We took them to lunch to eat Don Jose, our favorite place! While we were there I asked Kaylee "Did Gee tell you where Mommy and Daddy were?" and she said, "Yes, she said that you and Daddy had to run errands" (good one Mom haha) I said "Yes, we did. We also went to the Dr." and she said, "Why, Mommy? Does your back hurt?" I said "No" and then she went through a whole list of things that hurt and I said no until she said "Does your tummy hurt?" and I said "Yes a little bit" and she said "Why?" and I said, "Well, because there is a baby in it!!!" and she said "Another one??" It was so cute. So, we started talking to her about the baby and of course she was so excited! She was smiling from ear to ear! She said, "Mommy is the new baby going to look like Camden?" and I said "Maybe, maybe it will look like you!!!" She started to laugh about that. All she remembers is me being pregnant with Camden! She wanted to know who all would be at the hospital when the new baby came! It was cute! Later on when she was trying to take her nap, I heard her in their telling her stuffed elephant that there was going to be a new baby and that the new baby needed a new crib! It was sweet, I'm sure she'll be talking about it a lot and I'll have lots of cute stories to tell. She is such a sweet little girl and what an amazing big sister she is!
Thanks everyone who have kept us in your prayers. I'm thankful that we have a healthy baby growing inside of me and we can rest assured that God's holding us in His hand through this pregnancy just like the other two!

Third Time is the Charm!
Today is a big day for the Reams Family! This morning, Joey and I are heading to the Dr's for the first appointment and ultrasound for the new baby. I dont exactly think reality has quite set in and until I see the screen with that little beating heart it may not! However, Joey better be ready to catch me if I pass out! =) We are beginning to become very excited about this baby. I am very excited to tell Kaylee this afternoon! We wanted to wait until we had our first appointment and ultrasound to tell her the big news and boy, has it been hard! I think we may try to video tape her reaction! I just know its going to be a good one. Shes an awesome big sister to Camden and will be even better to a little baby, I'm sure. As much as she loves to play with her babies and dollies! And Camden, well he wont probably get it until the baby comes home with us! He might wonder why Mommy's belly is getting so big! hehe =) Kaylee was very into the pregnancy with Camden, she constantly rubbed my belly and talked to her baby brother inside, sang to him and read to him! I can't imagine the experience with her this time, I'm hoping that she can join us on the 20 week ultrasound and found out what the baby's sex is with us! She age is 4, but she is so close and already looks 5 so I'm hoping we can pull some strings =) We're pretty sure this will be the last baby, so its her only chance! We're excited about the big change in our family, God knows what He's doing and knew His exact timing...even if we thought we weren't "quite ready" =) We feel very blessed and are very thankful that God has given us the opportunity to be parents, again!

"Super heroes"
We're driving in the car yesterday and Kaylee asks me, "Mommy, do super heroes fly?" And I quickly responded with "No Kaylee, super heroes are just pretend." I thought to myself, what I had I just done to my little girl who has such a niave, imaginitive mind? Should have I went along with what she has been seeing on tv, movies and books or did I do the right thing by telling her the truth? We have always tried to walk the straight and narrow with Kaylee telling her exactly like it is. But, she is just a little kid, is it ok for her to have an imagination and believe things are real that are not? Such as Santa and the Easter Bunny? So far, we have not taught Kaylee that these things are real. She knows that Mommy and Daddy are "Santa Clause" and Mommy and Daddy are the "Easter Bunny". What'd you think? Feedback would be ever so welcomed!! Wisdom from those with grown children is always so helpful!

Good Morning and welcome to the Reams Family blog! For years, I have had a website designed for the children with lots and lots of photos. I did well with keeping up with writing about Kaylee, but when Camden came along life got busier and I wasn't able to find as much time. Now, as the kids are getting older there is a little more time. Besides with our third baby on the way, I figured I better get to blogging so everyone could keep up with the world around the Reams family!
